A Community Hydro Electric Scheme for Settle

Each share in Settle Hydro Ltd has a nominal value of £1.00. The minimum shareholding for an individual is £250 and the maximum (set by law) is £20 000.
 

At the end of each financial year there will be a fair division of profits between the shareholders and the community, should the company be in a financial position to issue dividends.

In order to underpin the viability of the company in the interests of our current shareholders, and so we can work on ways of increasing the output, the directors have decided to release a limited number of additional shares, both to enable us to improve the scheme, and to reduce the cash flow pressure.
